The system will, at the same time it sends you your PDF attachment, send you an email with a unique login should you wish to use it to apply for the course of your choice. Filling in the application form DOES NOT commit you to a course - it merely allows us to tell you that you are eligible to attend a course. Essentially a pre screening.
Only when YOU make a DEPOSIT, is there a binding contract between us.
This online application procedure is fundamental to your success as it is a screening technique and also a requirement of government, with whom we have Defense Contracts.

As an educational facility we do not offer direct job placement nor promise jobs because we simply do not know you yet.

Military experience is a plus but not the be all and end all and folks without it have made it onto the circuit.

Step One
Have you filled in an Application Form? This may sound like a stupid question but downloading the Course Information Pack does not constitute an application. Please ensure you have logged into your Application form using your unique Username/ Password that was sent to you with the Course Information.

Step Two
Ensure that you have FULLY completed your Application Form.
This means that you have filled in all the fields (they turn from red to green), ticked all the relevant boxes, filled in your medical history, fitness etc. and not missed a single thing. Ensure that you have pressed SUBMIT. Your application form is now locked.

Step Three
Did you add "applications@ronin.co.za" to your address book as requested? Some email service providers see the acceptance email as spam. Adding the above email address to your contact list prevent's the email from landing in your Spam / Junkmal or even the black hole of the internet.

No, we have never been linked to them in any way. We were incorporated in 1995 and rose to prominence in the Close Protection training industry within the UK from then till 2004 when Ronin Concepts chose to use the same name as our Organisation.

We would never comment on any organisation's product as we have not had the benefit of undergoing their training curriculum and so any comment would be wholly inappropriate.

What we would encourage you to do is to review with an eye for detail both their Course Information / Certification and ours. Please compare apples with apples, especially when you are comparing costs.

Due to the international flavor of our clientele it would be impossible for us to provide you with practical placements. What we DO give you is a list of UK employers (both Private and NHS) who are keen to employ Ronin Graduate and who have done so regularly in the past.

Unfortunately at this point in time, the HPCSA is still considering our application for accreditation (Submitted in June 2011). Until this has been resolved, the course is unfortunately not recognised in South Africa.

However we can refer you to accredited Training providers should you so wish.

Yes, you do. You will not have to attend the Theory Component and will only have to attend the last 4 weeks

There are multiple benefits to attending the Remote Medic Course:

• You receive a Ship Captains Medic Certificate
• You receive a UK Ambulance Technician Ctificate without a need to do 750 hours
• You benefit from Ronin's international reputation of  excellence
• You will be certificated on the Sinai System of Patient Care Approach
• You wil receive credit for the first week of the Ronin Close Protection Course

Yes, you will hold both an FPOS Enhanced and Trainee Ambulance Technician Qualification from IHCD Edexcel and as such are eligible for recruitment and working within either private or NHS Ambulance Services. 

Please understand that you will need to have your visa or immigration status sorted out if you are a non EU citizen.

Ronin is planning on incorporating the South African Emergency Care Assistant qualification into the Advanced Remote Medic Course. In June 2011 we applied for accreditation with the HPCSA and are still awaiting the outcome. Graduates may apply for a Classification Upgrade by

• redoing any week of the CP course to increase their marks to secure a higher classification WITHIN one year of their original course
• providing a portfolio of evidence containing line manager's references evidencing their experience and satisfactory performance/ leadership operationally over the last twelve months

Please note that Graduates are limited to ONE upgrade per 12 month period.
