Description The hallmark of our training is the exposure which students get whilst deployed on a live Close Protection detail on a multi-millionaire in Cape Town, the city with the third highest murder rate per capita in the world.

Students also enhance their close protection skills and gain the understanding that the word bodyguard is comprised of two syllables namely “body & guard”. To refer to oneself as a bodyguard one must necessarily understand the needs of the body intimately which you are tasked with guarding.

To this end students accompany Ronins’ Advanced Life Support Paramedics / Bodyguards on our front line, paramedic ambulance which assists persons of all races and economic strata in Cape Town free of charge and in support of a long standing community public / private partnership in association with the Division of Emergency Medicine of the University of Cape Town and Stellenbosch University.

The funding of this venture is the privilege of every graduate of Ronin and a significant contribution to South Africa's poorest, of which they can be proud.
All of our Practical Training is performed under the ethical oversight and in synergy with the Division of Emergency Medicine of the University of Cape Town and Stellenbosch University.
