| Description | Ronin’s Remote Medic Course uses the Institute of Health Care Development Paramedic modules (IHCD module G, H, I & J) as well as the Ship Captains Medic Award accredited by the South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA) as a basis for its training. Eligible Ambulance Technicians (IHCD Ambulance Aid Certification) and returning Ronin Intermediate Remote Medic graduates can apply to complete the Advanced Remote Medic Course. The course aim is to train Medics with sufficient skills & knowledge to work independently in a remote setting in some of the world most hostile and challenging environments e.g.
